I urge everyone who reads this and enjoys great superhero stories to go purchase The Watchmen comic book series. What an amazing take on the super hero. This was a short film made by DC comics that told the story of The Sea Captain. A man driven insane by a ship of murderers. His struggle to return home from being shipwreck only leads into a deeper insanity and intense need to reach his family before the Black Freighter, which killed his crew, does the same to his wife and children.
Gerard Butler (300) demands your attention as narrator and lead role as the Sea Captain. I was captivated, though it was only a 30 minute cartoon-movie. Check it out. It went straight to DVD and I promise you that you will like it.... If only The Watchmen at the movie theaters was as good as this one.....
