12 Rounds

This was John Cena's (WWE) first shot at the big time. Playing the role of a police officer, he did a good job, however the movie itself did not. After catching a notorious criminal and accidentally killing the criminals girlfriend in the arrest, Cena is surprised to find out that this criminal has escaped from prison, captured HIS girlfriend, and is now toying with Cena by making him complete 12 missions (or rounds) to get his girlfriend back. The tasks were relatively simple but cause collateral damage throughout the city and send Cena racing all over town in the hopes of rescuing his beautiful girlfriend.
Reminded me of the movie Seven. Similar idea but a new twist. Cena was a great action hero just as the others before him.... few words, muscles, likes to fight.... the usual. He's no Dwayne Johson, who became a great action star after wrestling in the WWE as well, but he will do. I wouldnt suggest going to see this at the theaters. Renting would be just fine when it comes out in a few months to DVD.

My elementary grading scale:Progressing Satisfactorily
1-10: 6.5
