Hit and Run: Unrated

In an attempt to draw more viewers, I believe the producers of this film slapped "unrated" at the end of the title. However, there was nothing "unrated" about it. Before watching, I had a preconceived notion that this film was going to be a horror movie, due to the movie poster, but it was more of a murder suspense mystery than anything...until the end. After driving home from the bar, a hit and run accident leaves the main character in a situation. Out of sheer terror, she ends up "disposing" of the body and her mind begins to drive her insane. After getting her boyfriend involved, her plans and story begin to unravel.....

I thought this movie was very good. I liked how they shot the film in the classic horror movie direction (not being able to see around corners, flashing to scary scenes, and frantic camera movements) which always leads to an uneasy feeling. This movie definitely keeps you on edge as the plot unveils itself with all of the accidents and unintended events.

My elementary grading scale: Exceeding Expectations
1-10: 8
