Tapioca

Sorry everybody, this film is NOT a winner. I have nothing wrong with low-budget, B-movies with unheard of actors. Sometimes they end up being pretty good. Tapioca, however, was a dud. Like most B movies, the acting is overdone and the script feels almost re-read instead of acted out. An egotistical, loud-mouthed, ex-car salesman continues looking down on everyone and expecting everyone to help him while he continues to be a mean, horrible person, so St. Peter intervenes to teach him a lesson in humility by turning him into a homeless person thanks to Nuts ( a very special homeless man).

A very choppy screenplay. Hopping from one random scene to the next makes it hard to follow. Ben Vereen is in this film as the homeless man that has the power to send people to alternate realities but he doesnt do a great job himself. I was banking on this movie being okay because of him, but he failed. I dont have too much to say about this film because there wasnt enough to really talk about.

My elementary grading scale: Needs Improvement
1-10: 4.5
