Its just your typical story of 5 privelaged twenty-somethings shipwrecked on an island in the Caribbean. Unfortunately the island is inhabited by a gorilla-like species that are cannibalistic killers. Like a hot knife through butter they go through this young crew of sea-farers until only one survives. For some reason, they basically play around with her until she has the opportunity to escape... it had a little bit to do with the goo she found oozing from a plant that the gorilla men found for her that masks her scent. The one girl that survives ended up being the one survivor I wanted to die. The one that made the bad decisions, screamed when she needed to be quiet.... you get the idea.
Very strange movie in that it didnt make sense. A well placed machete from 1922 was left in a bamboo tree for her to use in the end..... and luckily the bamboo with the machete didnt grow AT ALL in 87 years..... and the blade was in mint condition...Lots of stuff like that...I dont really wanna remember.
