This may have been THE curtain call for all the actors who had been lost over the years. Stars who played in movies and shows ranging from Back to the Future, Seinfeld, and to Home Improvement.
Originally thinking this was going to be a real movie before I pressed play, I was a little let down to see that it was a two part mini-series drama that aired somewhere at sometime on TV....somehow. I'm not dissing the TV mini-series genre itself, just this one. A collision of meteors changes the course of a large asteroid the size of a planet along with a rain of smaller, but deadly, meteors as precursors. A series of natural disasters, murders, hold-ups and misfortunes make figuring out the right way to handle the event almost seem impossible.... I am not going to give any spoilers out ....but this movie is as predictable as weighted dice.
The only redeeming quality of the drama is that it has stars that we all loved as kids growing up. Fortunately no one had to pay entry fees or the ridiculously high rental prices to catch this one. You MAY just want to watch it to see what George Costanza (Seinfeld), Dr. Emmett Brown (Back to the Future I II and III), and Bradley Michael Taylor (Tool Time) look like today.....
